’12年発表。約20分もの大作が2曲+ドローン的な2曲とメチャ濃厚。カナダの超絶インスト・バンド、10 年ぶりの作品。11年から活動を再開し、12年初頭には来日もしたが、そうして世界を廻りながら制作された本作はまったくの健在ぶりを示すほどの壮絶さだ。激しい展開が高揚を呼び、重厚な弦が幻惑する。時に美しく、時に残虐にすら感じるその音の底に見え隠れする絶望、怒り、悲しみ…。痛いほど刺さった。
