2006年新作アルバム発表後立て続けにヒット曲を出しているジョージの前作。カントリーアルバムチャートに90週！を超えて今なおランクインしているロングセラー！！　四半世紀活躍している彼に『最盛期』という言葉は当てはまらない。ずっと第一線にいて毎年ジョージを聴いているから。ってことはデビュー以来、一度も大病、怪我などなく歌い続けているってわけだ。この事実は何年かのち、きっとアンビリーバブルな記録としてニュースになろう。

とても力の抜けた作品が印象的。②③④⑦がその代表。ジャケットを見てふと「いつの間に老けた（痩せ始めた）んだな」と思ってしまうのはその声が衰えないからだ。いつまでもいつまでも歌ってほしいアーティストランキング№１だ。この作品からは№１ソングは生まれなかったがロングセラーを記録中。⑥は、張り詰めた透明感のリーアンウーマックに対し、ジョージはかえって感情を抑えた感がありなかなかのデュエットナンバーだ。
