３１周連続全米１位。全世界で売れた枚数１６００万枚。これだけでもすごいのに、シングルカットされた４曲全て全米トップ１０入り。イギリスのバンドなのに。１０年程前には、イギリス３大ブルースバンドだったのに、ここまで曲調が変わろうとは。個人的には、ブルースロック時代の方が好みだったので、星３つ。

みんな良いけど。ＳＯＮＧＢＩＲＤは何んとも哀愁のあるバラ−ドで、名曲です。何度聴いてもいい。この曲だけでこのアルバムの存在感が増す。是非、聴いて！　本当に美しい曲です。

Deluxe Edition はデモ版でもクオリティが...

Deluxe Edition はデモ版でもクオリティが非常に高い。これを正式版として発売したとしても、何の問題もなかったのではないだろうか。それだけ完成度が高いアルバムなのだとつくづく思う。音を重ねていったというより、余剰部分を究極までそぎ落とした傑作である。普通、デモ版なんておまけみたいなものなのだが、これは別バージョンをもう1枚追加したようなものだ。本当に素晴らしい。しかし、唯一納得いかないのは、シングルB面の#7をアルバムの途中に挿入したことだ。このアルバムは通しで聴いて1つの作品であり、間に関係のない曲を入れるべきではない。
