Entirely co-written by Enrique whilst he was on the road, ‘7’ represents a major change in his career. Gone are the throwaway pop songs and flippant party anthems of yore and, in their case, Iglesias ushers through a new style of songwriting – one that is more mature, more philosophical and more rounded. That’s not to say that ‘7’ is devoid of grooves. Far from it, as Enrique lines up the trusted band of producers that have seen him right thus far. ‘7’ is Iglesias flexing his lyrical muscles and proving to himself and to the world that writing his own songs (in English) is something that he knew he could do all along, he just needed to grow as a performer first. Enrique: “I think this is a more complete album. It’s actually not as polished (as the others) vocally...but that just makes it more real for me”.

前作はバラードアルバムだったけど今回はポップな曲多くていい感じ。6、8曲目がすごいいい！あと１ｓｔの「SAD　EYES」みたいな曲が欲しかったな〜。日本でもっと売れてもいいはず。
