クリント・イーストウッドの出世作になった...

クリント・イーストウッドの出世作になった本作。ハラハラ・ドキドキがあり、正義とは何かを考えるきっかけになり、クリント・イーストウッドのかっこよさを味わえる今観ても面白い作品。音楽もラロ・シフリンが担当しており、すばらしい。

今の時代こんな映画を観てひとときでも閉塞感から解放されたい｡代表的刑事ものと言えばこれでしょう｡ただ個人的には本作と２､そしてギリ３までしか評価できませんが。

わたしの持っているのは古いＤＶＤ。当然吹き替えは無しで、確かに山田康夫の吹き替えは是非欲しい。この映画で際だっているのは殺人犯サソリのキャラクター。サイコでありながら、社会の風潮を利用し、馬鹿にし、甘えている、わたしは実体験としては言えないが当時の一つの社会性の極端なキャラクター化なのだろうか？　それに対して「ふざけるなあ！」と怒りを剥き出しにして立ちはだかるのがハリー・キャラハン。彼が相手にしなければならないのは犯人だけではないのだ。その後ろ盾となるままならない社会のルール。その苛立ちが彼をダーティーに駆り立てる。バイオレンス描写も生々しく、ショッキング。それでいて冷静にアクションを処理しているドン・シーゲル監督の腕は最高の冴え。引き締まって無駄がない。その後人気シリーズとなるわけだが、やはりこれは別格の傑作。
