前半はディオン＆ベルモンツのアルバム。バラード曲を多く取り上げており、ムード満点のコーラスが素晴らしい。どの曲も本当に良いが「ザッツ・マイ・ディザイアー」が一押し。美しいコーラスが魅力的。アップ・テンポなら「アイ・ワンダー・ホワイ」と、全米５位という大ヒットになった「ア・ティーンネイジャー・イン・ラヴ」が素晴らしい。ドゥ・ワップならではの楽しさが良い。CD後半はディオンのソロ・アルバム。半数の曲は同時代のヒット曲のカヴァー。ベルモンツのアルバムと比べるとR&R色が濃く、やや荒っぽく歌っているようだが、バックのコーラスが彼の声を優しくサポートしており、全体は決して粗くない。アメリカン・ポップスはこうでなくちゃという、良
