Product Description

ADRENALIZE, Def Leppards fifth studio album from 1992 cemented the band as the dominant Arena rock band. The album was recorded following the tragic death of guitarist Steve Clark with Phil Collen recording all guitar parts and dedicated to his memory. The album featured huge singles such as Let's Get Rocked and Make Love Like a Man and debuted at No. 1 in both the UK and USA (and went on to sell over 7-million copies worldwide). This DELUXE EDITION features a remastered version of the original album with a bonus disc of rare, live, acoustic and demo versions.

ディスク１はオリジナル。ディスク２は当時シングルのＢサイドに収録された曲を集めたもので、アコースティックやライヴなどがたっぷり。どうせ買うならこちらがお勧め。

前作と完全に同じレベルの楽曲群の集合体ではありませんが、かなり近い線で迫っているアルバムです。評価は満点です。前作は振りきれていました。実はこのアルバムが私とデフ・レパードとの出会いでしたが、①から圧倒されてしまいました。良いものは良い。だから購入をお勧めします。（でも前作を先に購入したほうがもっと良いかも。） ロックソングも秀逸の出来ですし、バラードもなかなかです。コーラスが分厚いのでそれが気になる方もいるかもしれません。サウンドも空間系ですので、ドラムが作ったような感じですけど、このタイプのバンドには似合う音ですね。

Ｓｔｅｖｅの死を乗り越え、前2作より明るく軽くなってる。私的にはＲｏｃｋ．Ｓｏｎｇはイイんだけど、Ｂａｌｌａｄがイマイチ。Ｍ８はマアマアだけど気にいったのは当時ボートラだった「Ｍｉｓｓ．ｙｏｕ．ｉｎ．ｈｅａｒｔｂｅａｔ」（笑）本作時のＬｉｖｅに行ったが「Ｄｉｒｔｙ．Ｈａｒｒｙ」のＣｌｉｎｔ．Ｅａｓｔｗｏｏｄの有名なセリフの後、Ｍ１、Ｍ１０が連発で炸裂！レーザー光線も宙を舞ってました。
