David B. Dollar has been creating and performing music for most of his short life. Guitaring, singing, drumming, writing - he dabbles in them all. Well connected in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill scene of North Carolina, he is on the cusp of releasing his very first recording. This music is, without a doubt, David's own brand of indie rock and pop. As one local reviewer suggested, there is a certain 'classicism' about his music that lends itself to familiar melodies and arrangements of years past while still maintaing a modern, creative flavor that is unique among his peers. The Beatles, Explosions in The Sky, Motown, Pink Floyd, and early Weezer, are just scratching the surface of Dollar's many influences.
