Bobby Vintonが１９７０年にリリースされたアルバム”My elusive dreams”（二人の青い鳥）が日本で初ＣＤ化された。タイトル曲はCash Boxで３４位まで上昇。 収録作品も当時のヒット「雨にぬれても」「恋よさようなら」「恋の足跡」など 好選曲でその張りのある美声で聴かせる内容になっている。さらにボーナストラックの７曲はアメリカでも未CD化のＬＰ”Vinton”からで「嘘は罪」「トライアリトル テンダーネス」などスタンダード中心にうたっている。制作はビリー・シェリルで”May you always”などでは彼の暖かい人柄が伝わる。ヴォーカリストとして成長したボビーの歌声は聞き逃せない。
