Bob Dylanのジョン・ウェズリー・ハーディングJohn Wesley Hardingは1967年発表の通算8枚目のアルバム。とくにおすすめは見張塔からずっと。Jimi HendrixがElectric Lady Landでカバーしたバージョンは、ボブも気に入ったらしく、ザ・バンドと連名のライブアルバムでは激しくやっています。ただし、このアルバムでは比較的おとなしめのアレンジ。でもいい曲満載です。

フォークロックの到達点。バンドも、歌も、歌詞も、完成度が高いし、自然体だ。大衆との距離を感じまくったディランは、淡々と、運に見放された人間について、自然に歌っている。時代を煽るようなものはないが、逆に時を超えて沁みる歌が多い。彼はやはりホーボーなのかなー。

ロック時代が終わり、またもシンプルなサウンドに。。。 でも、気軽に聴けるアルバムです。　ディランの声が少し変化を遂げてます。　歌の内容も、　そして、曲ひとつひとつ短くなって、割と初心者にはお勧めかも・・・。
