2014 release, the ninth studio album from the Alt-Rock band. BARRAGAN is ambitious. Tracks like 'Dripping', 'The One I Love', and 'Defeatist Anthem (Harry And I)' have all the emotional punches of previous high water marks in the band's repertoire - the just feel slightly less calculated, more serendipitous. Formed in 1993, Blonde Redhead have never made records for fame, or for money, or to ape their teenage heroes, or to indulge any of the dumb, ephemeral impulses that clog up the blogosphere with dumb, ephemeral music. ’14年発表｡ﾃﾞﾋﾞｭｰから21年!独自の世界観がﾚｯﾁﾘら人気ｱｰﾃｨｽﾄからも支持されるｶｽﾞ･ﾏｷﾉ率いる3人組の約4年振り､通算9作目の作品｡ﾍﾞｯｸやﾚﾃﾞｨｵﾍｯﾄﾞを手掛けるﾄﾞﾘｭｰ･ﾌﾞﾗｳﾝが制作に携わっているのだけれど､確かに両者のｻｳﾝﾄﾞに近い浮遊感のある音像｡ｶｽﾞ･ﾏｷﾉの不可思議な声も相まってﾄﾞﾘｰﾐｰでﾌｧﾝﾀｼﾞｯｸなｱｺｰｽﾃｨｯｸ×ｴﾚｸﾄﾛの世界を邁進しています｡そのﾋﾞｼﾞｭｱﾙ通り古い怪奇映画やｺﾞｼｯｸ映画のようなﾜﾝ＆ｵﾝﾘｰの世界｡唯我独尊の姿勢にﾘｽﾍﾟｸﾄ｡
