Digitally remastered edition of this classic 1985 release from one of the world's most respected drummers. On Warning, Cobham is joined by Gerry Etkins (Kevin Eubanks Band), Baron Brown (Steve Smith), Dean Brown (Joe Zawinul) and others. Billy Cobham is acclaimed as fusion's greatest drummer. His explosive technique powered some of the genre's most important early recordings (including groundbreaking recordings by Miles Davis and the Mahavishnu Orchestra) before he became an accomplished bandleader in his own right. The music on Warning is dynamic and masterful. It was the first recording he made for GRP (1985). The album is a keyboard-dominated session, and definitely has a commercial sound to it. There are, however, enough drumming calisthenics by Billy to satisfy his fans.
