Lonely Acappella From The Mountains: Voices Of The Blue Bridge

These are old hymns sung acappella (without instruments) style. You can picture sitting on a mountain with nobody there but you and the elements. A stir gathers inside you and out comes the sound of songs heard in churches for generations-a baritone here but whatever your voice is too, singing along You can hear others sing along side you, children you knew, parents guiding, and the bellowing of that loudest singer. They're not really there on this album but you imagine they are. An original comes to mind about a horrible moment in Union, South Carolina, about a Mother and her Children. Songs here tell stories and most are inspirational and uplifting, outside the news events of a world seeking it's way toward a hopeful eternity. You'll find idenity here, remembrance, and family likeness. These are the ones you 'use to sing' growing up and even now if you can recall the words. I hope this project helps you do that.
