今の時代ではシングル曲がアルバムに入って...

今の時代ではシングル曲がアルバムに入っていないなどということはないので、こういうアルバムは成り立ちづらいと思いますが、当時はこうやってシングル中心でリリースされてたんだなぁ、それにしてもこの名曲群をアルバムにいれないとかどういう発想なんだと驚いてしまうようなアルバムです。B面曲は流石に微妙な曲も多いですが、A面の曲はどれも素晴らしい（一部の例外除く）。B面曲にもレインやオールド・ブラウン・シューなど、意外な掘り出し物があったりします。

The BEATLESの全213楽曲をカバーするためには、オリジナルアルバム13枚に加え、本盤が不可欠です。その点からもマスト・バイなディスクです。今回のSHM-CD化により、2009年リマスターで得られた明確な輪郭の音質に加え、重厚さ・力強さとでも言うような音圧を感じることができ、大変満足！！（他のディスクも全て買い換えたくなり困っています）。
