エアロスミスには名曲が多数あるがアルバム単位で考えると個人的なフェイバリットアルバムはこのNine Livesである。次アルバムも好きだがよりロックを感じる。

復活後ではこのアルバムが最高！っていう人が多いですよね。僕も全く同感です。 アルバムとして凄くまとまっているし、一曲一曲のクオリティが高すぎ。 録音もいいんですよね〜ハードエッジで、ライブ感があって。 個人的には「PINK」のまったりした感じも大好きです。

この頃の彼らは、作品発表する度、燃え尽きる事なきｴﾈﾙｷﾞｰを尋常ではないﾃﾝｼｮﾝで放出し続ける、まさにﾛｯｸﾓﾝｽﾀｰ。お得意のﾗﾌでｸﾞﾙｰｳﾞｨｰなﾛｯｸﾝﾛｰﾙから王道節全開のﾊﾟﾜﾌﾙなﾊﾞﾗｰﾄﾞ、ｲﾝﾄﾞﾃｲｽﾄなｻｲｹﾅﾝﾊﾞｰまで丸ごと飲み込んで、その絶倫っぷりたら末恐ろしかった。「PUMP」に始まった第二期黄金期の集大成的傑作。
