サッカーの国際試合で、フランスの代表チームの監督が何者かに殺害される事件が発生した。

真犯人とダイヤの行方を追うため、呼ばれたのは警察一のつかえない警官クルーゾー警部！
かくして、監督の恋人歌手のザニア、相棒のポントンを巻き込んだドタバタ捜査が始まった！迷警部クルーゾーは果たしてこの難事件を無事に解決することができるのであろうか？！

フランス訛りでの話し方が面白いので、ぜひ英語で聞いて観てほしい！そしていつもダンディーなジャン・レノが全身タイツやらで面白かった！！

「ファミリー向けのコメディーに仕上げた」と監督が語っている通り、笑いの度合いはマイルド。お笑い好きにはやや物足りないかも。あと、オープニングはCG版の方がやはりカッコイイと思う(特典映像で見れる)。
