９５パーセントクラシックを聴くものです。バッハのメロディに歌詞をつけた曲ってどれぐらいあるのか知りませんが、チェロ組曲6番のサラバンドを歌ったトラック15は素晴らしいです。優しさ、悲しみ、寂寥、希望、このメロディが持つ透明な深さを、思い出と霊をテーマに描くスティングはやっぱり天才です。‘Ｗｉｎｔｅｒ’という言葉で終わる瞬間、人の命というものを感じて目がしらが熱くなりました。日本でもクラッシックのメロディに歌詞を付けるのを耳にしますが、残念ながら、浅い「替え歌」だなぁと思うことがほとんどです。ま、スティングはジジィだし、仕方ないかも。じゃ、由紀さおり・安田祥子はどうなんだ？

とても綺麗で、どこか懐かしい感じのする、とてもいいアルバムだと思います。商業主義的なクリスマスがうっとうしいあなたには、特におすすめです。

これはいい作品です。 聴くたびに新鮮な気分になります。 北欧の伝統音楽なんでしょうか、とても心地いいです。 スティングの声とアコースティックな楽器の演奏がその地に行ったような 気持ちにさせてくれます。　…しかしスティング髭伸びたなぁ（笑）
