Set between 1962 and 1974, Big Wednesday is the story of three surfing buddies, Matt (Jan-Michael Vincent), Jack (William Katt) and Leroy (Gary Busey). It tells of their fights, their loves and the hero worship that follows them as they conquer the foam.

John Milius (Apocalypse Now, Red Dawn) directs and co-scripts with a passion for the ultimate ride and a truthful feel for those turbulent times. Stars Jan-Michael Vincent and William Katt who are accomplished surfers; co-lead Gary Busey (Point Break) who had to learn for the role.
