A very meditative recording made in an ashram in Fiji. Featuring the melodious sounds of the North Indian bansuri (bamboo flute). According to Billboard magazine The bansuri flute is one of the most sensual and serene instruments to come out of India. Only a couple of Westerners have mastered it's intricacy and nuance... one is John Wubbenhorst... Very suitable also for those involved in yoga and who would like an atmosphere of deep relaxation. John studied for years under the great Indian bansuri master Hariprasad Chasurasia and his improvisations reflect that classical North Indian training.
