a masterpiece. However BD does not have its quality as it can.

1. color balance is bad. Green tone is exaggerated. When I watched this film 20 years ago, the most fascinating part was beauty of colors. Now this BD make me sick of colors. too much green destroyed the color balance.

2. thick grains. Somehow the editor seems to keep the original picture from telecine transfer, which seems to carry on the dirts of flims. However the original cells and 35mm flim would never have such grains when it was made. The editor seems not to understand the softness AND smooth reflectivity of cell painting. There is no room to have such grains.

After all this BD is not something I have waited for many years. Ironically the deep blue sky of DB box actually reflect the original movie.
