I am not so sure that I would use the term”Great”in describing this recording.This was,I think ,the first time DGG recorded Sinopoli ”live”and it shows that the quality of sound achieved in the studio far surpassed what is on offer here.For 200y or so more you can get Karajan’s absolutely riveting performance in far better sound on import.Save your money and get that one,you won’t be disappointed

SKDの音色を聴くことができるというだけで満足した。しかし、美音だけの演奏ではない。いざというときの金管楽器のど迫力も堪能できる。解釈云々よりもこのオケの表現力と底力に舌を巻く。
