ロスらしい自然な演奏。淡々としているが、細部まで繊細に表現。聴くほどに味わい深い。ロスのクープランやラモーは伝説的な扱いを受けているが、今日ではボーモンやルセの全集、その他優れた演奏が次々登場しており、さして斬新な感じはしない（Stil盤は希少と称して価格を上げ、ロスに不要なカリスマ性を与えている。この抜粋盤も例外的大サービスのつもりだろう）。勿論、今の古楽演奏の水準からすればこの演奏も奇跡的でも何でもない。しかし、余計な演出がなく、ロスらしい爽やかさを堪能できることは確実。
