Releasing on Deutsche Grammophon, Paris sees the American violinist resume her productive partnership with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and its Music Director, Mikko Franck. ヒラリー・ハーンの演奏を心ゆくまで楽しむことの出来る一枚である。パリとハーンが結びついた曲目が並べられており。まさに今の彼女の演奏を聴くことのできる録音である。

プロコフィエフがハーンの音色、そして演奏スタイルに合わないはずもない。この曲の意地の悪さにも苛立つこともなく、下手に熱くならずきちんと向き合って彼女の音楽にしているところは流石と言える。オケもサラッとした心地よい音質なのが嬉しい。ラウタヴァーラの曲はたいそう美しく、ソロ、オケともに良い仕事をしている。
