Recorded at Red Rock Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, on June 20th, 2019, as part of John Fogertys nationwide U.S. tour celebrating 50 years since Creedence Clearwater Revival performed at Woodstock Festival in 1969. The album includes live John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival classics including Proud Mary, Fortunate Son, Bad Moon Rising and Centerfield along with live favorites Suzie Q and I Heard It Through the Grapevine. This release will be supported by screenings of the JOHN FOGERTY 50 YEAR TRIP LIVE AT RED ROCKS on Veterans Day 2019 at over 500 movie theatres, nationwide, in coordination with Fathom Events.

ジョン・フォガティ活動の５０周年記念ライ...

ジョン・フォガティ活動の５０周年記念ライブだが、内容的には身内をステージに上げての家族的な雰囲気が伝わる。セット・リストは過去の曲構成とあまり変わらないが、１９曲中１７曲がCCRの曲になっていて、５０周年を祝うと言ってもCCR時代が中心の構成になっているのがやや不満。ただ本当は１０と１１の間には６曲あって、ジョンの息子たちがフューチャーされ、他人のナンバーを歌っている。あと怪しげな女性コーラスが二人いることと、ホーンセクション隊がいることぐらいが珍しい点かな。お勧めは８の曲で個人的には大好きなナンバーで嬉しかった。選曲も珍しく、本ライブ売り物のホーンセクションが出てきて、見事なサックスソロを聞かせてくれる。素晴らしい。５０年と言わず、６０年も７０年もパフォーマンスを見せてほしい。
