輸入盤LP8枚組を購入。 実はあまり好きではなかったアルバムなのだが…。デモ音源を聞いて驚いた。本当に素晴らしい！好きでなかったのはフィルスペクターの音だと気が付いた。ビートルズって凄いメンバーが集まってたんだな…今更だけど。

偏りなく、公平な意見を残しておきたいだけですが...Blu-rayオーディオがどれぐらいスゴイのか、私はそれが楽しみです。Blu-rayでのオーディオ環境がないと、一連のビートルズやジョンレノン、ザ・バンドのスーパーデラックスの価値の重要な部分が未体験のままとなってしまうので、とてももったいないです。

スーパーデラックスエディションとアナログ３枚組を購入。５０年目にして初めてリミックスされた本編から聴き始めました。曲によって「ヴォーカルが大きく前に出てくる（ダブルトラックになったような感覚を覚えるところも有り）」「バッキングの分離が良くなり立体的になる」「埋もれて聴こえていなかった音に気付く」など、とても分かり易いリミックスですね。 全体的にフィル・スペクター流のウォール・オブ・サウンドによる音の塊感が薄れ、ひとつひとつの楽器の音が鮮明になり、ジョージのヴォーカルも活き活きと心地良く響きます。「What is life」ではなんとギターリフの追加もありますね。ほかでもありそうで、探すのが楽しみです。 ジョージが生前やりたがっていたこの「ロック界に不滅の金字塔」（笑）のリミックスを息子のダーニが後を継ぎ中心となって素晴らしい仕上がりで完成させてくれました。私は４３年間聴いてきましたが、まるで新譜を聴いているかのような錯覚すら覚えます。ダーニ、ありがとう！アトモス再生はまだこれからです。
