Product Description

We follow medical student John Carter (Noah Wyle) as he is introduced to the trauma and elation of emergency medicine, as well as the rest of the staff. Unlike other hospital dramas, “ER” used full-on medical terminology from the outset with no definitions given, never apologising for its fast pace and graphic medical scenes. Nevertheless, it's surprising how quickly you begin to understand the complex language and procedures. Even within this first season, the characters are immediately defined and engaging.
