「story of issac」「there’ll always be」が聴けるだけで本作を買う価値がある。「down by the river」のライヴテイクを聴けるのも魅力だ。やはりブキャナンはやってくれる！

'70年代泣きのギター・インストゥルメンタル・ナンバーの名曲を3曲挙げろと言われたら、サンタナの「哀愁のヨーロッパ」、ジェフ・ベックの「哀しみの恋人達」、そしてロイ・ブキャナンの「メシアが再び」を選ぶだろう。もちろん異論はあるだろうが、この3曲どれもが当時本当に多く耳にこびりついて離れないほどラジオから流れてきたものだった。
