Comprising over an hour of digitally remastered live classics, the first 8 tracks here were originally recorded in '66, and feature Hooker backed by blues legend Muddy Waters and band (a rare and potent meeting of musical giants). Six years later, Hooker brought his troupe (comprised of son John Lee Jr.. and Bay Area resident Luther Tucker of Waters' and Little Walter's bands) to Soledad Prison in Oakland, California; these 5 tracks exemplify Hooker's endless boogie style (showcased in his Hooker 'N Heat album).
