Digitally remastered and expanded edition of the second album from this band led by former Jimi Hendrix Experience bassist Noel Redding. Recorded in late 1969, the album followed on in style from their debut album. Issued in 1970, the album failed to get the attention it deserved at the time of it's release but has subsequently been hailed as a classic of the era. This reissue includes six bonus tracks taken from the unreleased third Fat Mattress album. Esoteric. 2009.

ジミヘン・エクスペリエンスのベーシスト、ノエル・レディングが結成したサイケ・ポップ・ロック・バンドの'70年2ndと未発表に終わった3rdアルバムを収録しています。エクスペリエンスとはまた違ったポップセンス溢れるものですが、ソングライティングの良さと凝ったアレンジが上質なサイケ・ロック・アルバムに仕上げています。 2nd、3rdとも音楽性、広がりのあるアレンジが1stより格段に進歩した印象があります。特に3rdの「The River」は17分にも及ぶインプロを含むプログレ風大曲で、このバンドが単なるサイケ・ポップ・バンドではなく、幅広い音楽性を持っていることがわかります。
