This album was organized as a collage, using chance, spontaneity and improvisation to create texture. Tape manipulation using voices and loops, field recordings of airport terminals & travelogues and electro-acoustics are multi-layered in a process similar to carefully controlled masturbation. It is a mix of low-fi/hi-fi, analog & digital with novelty, special effects and humor juxtaposed with serious, hallucinatory journeys into darkness. Experimentations crescendo, power surge, release, maelstrom & calm, exhilaration & liberation, soothing & energizing. The Use of Sound as a Power Tool.
