ロックンロールの先駆者、いわゆるロックンロール・ジャイアンツと言われて、エルヴィス・プレスリーやバディ・ホリー、ビル・ヘイリー、リトル・リチャードなどと並んでまず出てくるのがこのチャック・ベリーだろう。独特のイントロ、テテテ、テケ、テケ、テケ、テケ…というフレーズはチャック・ベリーのトレードマークであり、ロックンロールと人が聞いて思い出す雰囲気を象徴するのがこうした音であることは言うまでもない
