Import two CD pressing of the original soundtrack to the 2009 film from director Richard Curtis (Four Weddings & A Funeral, Notting Hill, Love Actually). Bringing together some of Curtis' favorite songs, this soundtrack is truly integral to the movie. It features some of the greatest songs from the '60s and '70s, as well as the odd gem from the '80s. A new version of Stay With Me Baby performed by Duffy, meanwhile, provides the backdrop to one of the film's most poignant moments. 原題「The Boat That Rocked」、邦題「パイレーツ・ロック」のサウンドトラック。 Duffyが唄うLorrain Ellisonのカバー曲「Stay With Me Baby」（Lorrain Ellison が唄う「Stay With Me Baby」も収録してます！）で幕を開けるこのサントラですが、The Kinksの「All Day and All of the Night」で一気にボルテージが上がります。とにかく60年代を中心としたロックアンセムの数々が「これでもか！！」というくらい（36曲！）に収録されているのでオールディーズファンもですが、最近のロックファンにも聴いて貰いたい作品です。Procol Harumの「A whiter shade of pale」は久々に聴いても感動できる良い曲ですね。
