J.S.バッハの『葬送音楽』完全復元版！
パロット＆タヴァナー・コンソート＆プレイヤーズ

早くからジョシュア・リフキンが提唱した「OVPP（One Voice Per Part）」を採用するなど、ピリオド奏法のパイオニアとして活躍してきたアンドルー・パロットとタヴァナー・コンソート・プレイヤーズがアヴィー（AVIE）に登場。プログラムは、ケーテン侯レオポルトの追悼のために作曲されたJ.S.バッハの『葬送音楽』BWV.244a完全復元版世界初録音です。
　1717年、32歳のJ.S.バッハを宮廷楽長として迎え入れ、音楽活動を支えたケーテン侯レオポルト。バッハがライプツィヒへと転出した５年後の1728年に34歳という若さでこの世を去った恩人のために作曲された『葬送音楽』BWV.244aの完全復元、世界初録音という特大プロジェクトがここに実現。
　『マタイ受難曲』のパロディとして知られながらも、楽譜の消失によりその全容がベールに包まれていた『葬送音楽』BWV.244a。パロット＆タヴァナー・コンソート＆プレイヤーズにより、その姿が「完全復元版」として明らかになります。（東京エムプラス）
