This is by far the best recording of the Greig and Bizet pieces and one of the best performances by an orchestra I have ever heard. I have more that 125 SACD’s that are in Hybrid DSD Multi-channel and this is the best overall performance and recording. I have been a Telarc enthusiast ever since 1977 and the release of ”The Firebird” and all of the direct to Disc recordings of those days. I have many of the Pentatone, Channel Classics and Great Telarc SACD’s, but this absolutely tops them all.
