ハイ・ナンバーズはサンデンの代わりにキース・ムーンを迎え、バンドには黄金のラインアップが揃った。またこの時期、カネに困ったミーデンがハイ・ナンバーズのマネージメント権を、キット・ランバートとクリス・スタンプという二人に売り渡すという事件が起こったが、かねがねミーデンのやり方に不満を持っていたバンドにとってはこれはかえって良い出来事といえた。彼らはバンド名を再びザ・フーに戻し、再スタートを切る。
