HMV SHIBUYA opened in 1990 as the first HMV store
in Japan.
The store was renewed in 2002, and since then, it has been a
landmark of Shibuya.
We have expanded DVD section which is the fast-growing field
of the visual media. And in the meantime, we have increased
the stock up to 100 thousand titles. Also, Jazz, Sound tracks,
Books, and Event stage have been transferred to the 6th floor
to expand each of the section. As a result, the entire space
in the 2nd floor became the section for Dance and Soul, with
an increased range of titles including Analogs. HMV Shibuya
is a huge flagship store of HMV Japan that has not only the
huge range of titles and space, but also an event stage where
popular artists perform, J-WAVE Shibuya HMV Studio, and internet.
We also offer you our original accesories. By maximising the
features of the store, we have managed to establish a store
where all the customers including children and those over
their 40s can enjoy shopping.
We will keep on focusing the future instead of adhering to
the "current Shibuya" to become "the best store
