Tracey Thorn『Solo: Songs And Collaborations 1982-2015』

4人組女性グループ、マリーン・ガールズを結成。1982年にファースト・ソロアルバム『A Distant Shore』をリリース。マリーン・ガールズのアルバムは83年にリリースされた。

そしてベン・ワットとエヴリシング・バット・ザ・ガール（EBTG）を結成。初期のアコースティック・サウンドから次第に、ダンス・ミュージックへと音楽的傾向が変貌。シングル「ミッシング」は全米シングル・チャートに最少ランクイン記録を作る（当時）など大人気となったが、EBTGは2000年に解散。

2007年、ソロ作『アウト・オヴ・ザ・ウッズ』をリリース。UKで大ヒットを記録する。プロデュースにイワン・ピアソンを起用したアルバム『ラヴ・アンド・イッツ・オポジット』をリリースしている。

今回リリースされる、初となるベスト・アルバムにはソロ２作での楽曲に加え90年代の大名曲Massive Attack「Protection」や他アーティストとのコラボレーション楽曲も収録予定になっている。
