A disappointing release. Only a few tracks was remixed appropriately and the rests are distastefully done. The worse mixes has to be MacArthur Park, followed by On The Radio, I Feel Love and then Sunset People. And the vocal of Working The Midnight Shift sounded like a bootleg vocal performance. The outcome of this project should not have been approved at all. Just my opinion.

Surprising it’s the best David album to date for me. The songs are more personal and has more depth and David has finally found his recording voice on this album. Just my opinion. Recommended.

In my opinion, the best audio edition of this concert was on the earlier LD issues 78LM 14 (60 mins) and the full length concert SRLM 356-7.
Reason being it’s been mixed differently from the cd versions and most LD and DVDs. It has excellent clarity and it revealed most of the instruments on stage. You could hear the sound of percussions and even the sound of harp! However, due to it’s honest revelation of the sound during the concert, the noise of cheering and screaming fans have also been amplified, which is the only set back.
I hope this Blu-ray edition will bring us new discoveries on this legendary concert. :-)

This is the best Donna Summer greatest hits collection in my opinion. At least in terms of her Disco hits collection. It’s high time for the release of the DELUXE Edition for this collection.

Not only is this her best album but also one of the best Disco album ever made. From the production to the songs selection and the vocal performance. And also a landmark album to the end of the disco era. This DELUXE Edition is everything great. The sound quality, the color print and the bonus disc with extended versions. Donna may have left us on 17May2012 but her music and legacy lives on forever.

This is a Hong Kong limited release of just 1000 pieces. There will be a certificate in the box with the serial number. The sound of this release is superb! Though it did not truly cover the full Japanese catalogue release of Teresa Teng in Japan but it’s pretty close here. Strongly recommended.

It’s overall a nice album especially the ballads, but Seiko should seriously consider quit singing in English for good. Somehow it didn’t sound great or in fact ever.

Another reissue of ABBA Gold EXCEPT that this time the difference is on the DVD picture/ color quality. On this edition the videos had finally received it’s proper restoration digitally. Pictures are even clearer, colors are brighter and so ABBA looked more refreshing than ever. The videos looked like they were shot yesterday except with an retro style. This is an great edition for collection. Recommended.

This is the album where Olivia took another different musical direction from her previous successful Physical album. By this period, Olivia has gotten married and just had a kid and she dropped the sexy image and sang about social issues and global warming effects. This album was well recorded though.

This is ’The best album’ of Olivia’s, or at least in terms of her pop album. The recording was great, vocal performance was amazing, her style was provocative and the songs selection are the best. Intensely recommended.

This is a landmark album for ONJ. It’s her official transition as a country singer to a pop/ rock singer. Stunning album with incredible vocal performance on this collection. Recommended.

This is one of the least successful ONJ album and yet in my opinion, one of her best after the Physical album. On this album Olivia was ahead of her time and she was on top vocal form, after this album Olivia took a very different musical direction. I would strongly recommend this intense album.

This Deluxe anniversary double disc set is unlike the earlier titles. Its a truely Japanese made edition, great packaging, great colour prints on the covers and the bonus videos are fantastic too. A divine release on SHM-CD format.

This is a fantastic TV compilation of Momoe performances in the Yoru No Hit Studio. It has been digitally remastered (though on some tracks it wasn’t). Every scenes that has Momoe on this programme have been captured faithfully on this DVD box set. A must for all Momoe fans.

I love Seiko San and her reissues but to press in on 70+ CDs for the entire singles collection is truely a terrible waste of resources. Also a huge collection such as this often cause a storage problem. The Seiko Complete Bible Singles collection in 1996 was an excellent production. The colour print was beautiful and yet contains all side A and side B tracks and it’s environmental and storage friendly. Just my opinion.
