The sound of this disc on SHM-CD is phenomenal!!!! It is very crisp and tight... Does anyone if the other Donna Summer SHMs sound equally as good?

カサブランカ時代の集大成的なベスト盤ですが、当時の新曲「オン・ザ・レイディオ」と「ノー・モア・ティアーズ」以外はヒット曲のオリジナル・バージョンではなく新たに音を被せたりエディットされたりのニュー・バージョンで収録。しかもアナログ各面がノンストップ・メドレーになっていて、それまでのオリジナル・アルバムの造りを踏襲した、単なるベストではない作品です。よって、ドナ追悼の一枚をという方には他の編集ものをオススメしますが、ファンとしてはこれもはずせないオリジナル・アルバムの一枚として聴くべき。

This is the best Donna Summer greatest hits collection in my opinion. At least in terms of her Disco hits collection. It’s high time for the release of the DELUXE Edition for this collection.
