買って損はないとはこの事。間違いない。そして、アルバムの曲順も素晴らしいものがある。まず、僕がこのアルバムを買おうと思ったのは、｢僕から君へ」を聴いてこれはすごい、と思ったからなのだけれど、それが一曲目に入りつつ中盤には｢ハマナスの花」と「夏空｣の関係が程好くて好きだ。｢ふらっピー｣と「どうでもいい｣は全体的にエレクトロな部分要素の多いこのアルバムで、エレクトロっぽさが他より多い。フィナーレは｢SIREN｣、｢管制塔(acoustic)」だ。すごぶる終わり方がいい。ただ｢SIREN｣でだいぶこのアルバムがしまった中で、その後の｢管制塔(acoustic)」はシークレットトラック、若しくはボーナストラックとゆう形なら、個人的に最高だった。素晴らしいアーティスト、音楽家が北海道から出てきていることを誇りに思う。

まだハタチそこそこの彼らだがGalileo Galileiとしての世界観はしっかりと持っていて同世代のファンから支持されている。その理由は10代だからこそ感じる喜びや葛藤が歌詞に見事に反映され、そこに透き通った瑞々しいサウンドが交じり合って今青春真っ只中の心に素直に届くのだと思う。MONOBRIGHTやサカナクションにsleepy.ebそしてGalileo Galileiなど北海道出身のミュージシャンが最近よく出てくる様になった。冬などは寒くて部屋に篭もりがちだろうし、広大な土地であるがゆえ田舎なら爆音を出せるし、なによりも美しい風景が広がっている北海道は、ミュージシャンが育ついい土壌なのかもしれない。
