個人的にはメカの格好がいまいちで都市破壊が少ないので満点はあげられませんが、この当時の映画には制作者の強い熱意を感じます。脚本、特撮..いつから人気俳優でリメイク映画作るなどゴミみたいな制作者が出現したんだろう？

日本軍の”電子抱”ｱﾒﾘｶ開発の”ﾏｰｶｰﾗｲﾄ･ﾌｧｰﾌﾟで富士山麓で総攻撃を開始する一大ｽﾍﾟｸﾀｸﾙｼｰﾝは、1953年版初代「宇宙戦争」をしのぐ名場面です。又、東宝ｽｺｰﾌﾟによる大迫力ｼﾈｽｺと、伊福部昭の独自の耳に焼き付く軽快なﾏｰﾁが、映画をよりいっそう引き立てます。必見。！

Chikyuu Boueigun(The Mysterians) DVD by Toho has excellent Audio tracks...there are 4 in all, including a remix of Akira Ifukube musical score on track 4 without sound effects or talking.....the picture quality is very good and similar to the laser disc released some years ago....that is where improvement could have been done.......so because the video is essentially the same as the Laser print i gave it an 8 out of 10, for this film, the best Toho ever produced in my opinion.....Joe From Florida
