良い演奏だったのを覚えています。あとは、ニコラエワ女史のベートーベンとバッハ作品集を廉価で出していただきたいものです。

近年何年かごとの来日公演はあるが、まったくといっていいほど海外での活躍状況、そして新録音が出なくなってしまったチモフェーエワ。彼女がメロディアに入れたハイドンの全集は、現在のピアニスト達がこぞってハイドンのソナタを活発にレパートリーにするかなり以前に企画録音された彼女の代表盤で清潔感に溢れリズムもしなやかで素敵な演奏。彼女の他のメロディア録音も切に復活希望！！

オルベルツ等が手に入りやすいハイドン全集ではありますが、ロココ調を踏み外さず、ハイドンの作曲意図にしっかりと踏み込んでゆくチモフェーエワのピアノは、まさに「理想形」と言ってもいいと思います。

ソナタ全集を出している他のピアニスト（ピアツィーニ、オルベルツ、ブッフビンダー、マカビー）などに比べて格段に指回りが良い。装飾音が安定していて綺麗。歌心もあり聴いていて飽きない。Hob.XVI-52のように重厚さが求められる曲ではバックハウスほど重くはないが古典らしさが良く出ている。問題なのはブックレットに録音データが一切ないこと。1977-82年録音以外のデータが一切書かれていない。
