生で聴いた時の衝撃と言ったら！いずれも極めて優秀な録音群で、現代的オーボエの音色を堪能出来ます。当然技巧的にも不安感は皆無、学生達必見の謳い文句は的を得ており、勉強中の方には大変参考になる模範的演奏だと思います。いずれも録音、演奏共に良好です。逆転満塁本塁打のようなインパクトは無いですが、好守が出来る堅実な内野手、あるいはリードオフマン、安打製造機的な盤ですので、これで満足出来ないとしたら、古典的な音がお好きか余程の痛快さを求める方だと思いますから別のをお勧めいたします。

広田は、美音の持ち主である。これら今や一般的レパートリー化した作品達にも、その美音が響いている。その音楽性は、たおやかなものだが、宮本　文昭の様な個性というものが、感じられない。時代も、国も違う作品群が、皆、同じ様に奏でられているのだ。この価格で、購買意欲を掻き立てる物が有るとすれば、それは録音の良さのみだろう。
