’60年以降のイエイエ・ブームに乗っかりSylvie Vartan(シルヴィー・ヴァルタン)、France Gall(フランス・ギャル)、Francoise Hardy(フランソワ−ズ・アルディー)等の活躍が目立ち始めた頃に発表されたセルジュの４nd（1962年発表）。音楽活動に行き詰まりを感じ引退の言葉も浮かびあがったが、南米のサウンドを取りいれた意欲的な楽曲から、哀愁漂う切ないジャズ・ナンバーまで彩り豊かな作品を作り出した。
