Mr.Childrenは私は正直、嫌いなバンドに分類される。だが、しかし、このアルバムだけは違う。このアルバムは邦楽史に残すべきほどの名盤である。ミスチル現象の真っ只中にあって、あえてリリーナされた今作、ヒットシングルを詰め込まず、世間の期待を裏切るアンチテーゼのような作品であり、それまでに急増したにわかファンたちに対する踏み絵的立場にある。生々しく、痛々しいまでの感情表現、悲しみ、憎しみ、苦しみ、これらを包み隠すことなく吐露し、桜井和寿という人間の偶像化を拒否し、彼もまた我々と同じことで悩み、苦しみ、そして救いを求むる一人の人間なのだと認識せざるを得ないまでの内面に迫った内容である。コンセプトアルバムになっており、全体で一曲として捉え、最初から最後まで一気に聞くべき。1 people agree with this review

ｺｱなﾛｯｸﾌｧﾝは怒りそうだけど、ぼくはPINK FLOYDの｢The Dark Side Of The Moon｣と同じくらい好きです。 ｢曲,歌詞,ｼﾞｬｹｯﾄﾃﾞｻﾞｲﾝ｣全てがとても素晴らしいと思いますし、日本人だからこそ創れたと思います。中学生の時にこのｱﾙﾊﾞﾑと出会えて、本当に良かったです。0 people agree with this review

楽曲的にも、商業的にも、飛ぶ鳥を落とす勢いという言葉以外に当時のミスチルを表現する言葉が見つからない。そんな彼らがヒットしまくったシングル曲をあえて収録せず（のちにBoleroに収録された）、コンセプト・アルバムとして発表した本作品には意気込みとか魂のようなものを感じる。後にも先にもない、ミスチル本気のロックがそこにある。0 people agree with this review
