HMV Review

出ました！オアシスのライヴ・アルバム！収録されているのはロンドンはウェンブリー・スタジアムで今年7/21に行われたライヴの模様。ゴタゴタした私生活、バンド周辺の事情をはね返すような充実した演奏を見せてくれてます。これ聴くと今後新バンドの方向性としてはレッド・ツェッペリンなど70年代っぽい王道ロック系へのより一層の傾斜も考えられる気がする(狂熱のライヴ？多分バンドは続いていくことでしょう！)。冒頭はともかく、続く近作からの2曲を聴くと、あの作品周辺へのいろいろな想いが滲み出てきて、感慨にふけってしまうが、"スーパー・ソニック"からの怒涛のグレイテスト・ヒッツにオアシス・サポーターも狂喜乱舞。よくバラエティTV番組で、後からしらじらしい笑いを被せているのがある。またかつてのポップ・ミュージック界には歓声を被せた擬似ライヴ盤なんてのもあった。ここでのサポーター達の歓声に全く編集がないなんて言えるはずはないけど(前に出すかひっこめるかというバランス調整だって編集だから)、この熱量はウソではないし、ここまでシンガロングが沸き起こる現役バンドはオアシス以降にも殆どいない。リアムのヤサグレ方も相変わらずだけど、ノエル兄ちゃんのうたが妙にいい。

    ファンのみなさん、ごめんなさい。あたしはオアシスがここまで良いライブをすることを知りませんでした。ｽﾀﾝﾄﾞﾊﾞｲﾐｰ最高！スプリングスティーンのliveｱﾙﾊﾞﾑとともに楽しんで聴いてました。
