第1番が好評のようですが、この演奏はまるでティンパニー協奏曲。手を変え品を変え、何とか聞かせようという工夫はわかります。この曲は「名曲」の評価が定着しているようですが、私にとってはどうやっても相性の悪い曲です。最近では、交響曲作曲家ブラームスにとっての習作と呼ぶのがふさわしいのではと思うようにしています。安いですから、ブラームスの交響曲全集を持っていない方にはお勧め。

あの･･･4番抜きの頃買ったんですが。特別優待はないのかと思ったがこの価格なら仕方ない。御同輩買いましょう。ただ確かに1番だけ抜きん出て良いので4番抜きでもいいと言う選択も有り。「1番は誰が･･･」の意見も分かる気がします。ある試聴会で1番を4種類聞かせて当てる余興があったが100人近い自称「クラシック通」で正解者はゼロ。無論ヴァントも入ってましたが全く分からず。アバドだと言い張った年配者もいた。まぁ、そんなもんです。（笑）唖然としなくていい。
