彼女は2007年に歌手生活50年を迎えたとのことで、結構な年齢ではないかと推察される。本作は、1969年から1986年の間に録音されたもので、この内の5曲は1975年にメトロポール＆middot;オーケストラと共に録音された未発表作品。コンピレーションですが、バラード中心で良い作品です。
