マイアミの新鋭トラックメイカーKatrah-Queyのソロ・アルバム。これまでCrown City RockersやRoots Manuva、Juggaknots、Anti Pop Consortiumなど現在のアングラヒップホップ・シーンを牽引するアーティストのプロデュースを手がけ、06年にはプロデュースした楽曲が米アニメ・プログラム「Cartoon Network」にてオンエア。また09年4月には地元のレーベルArepazより300枚限定の7インチでデビューし、即完売したという経歴を持つ。デビューアルバムとなる本作は、独自のカルチャーとなっている日本のジャジー・ヒップホップ・シーンにシンパシーを抱き制作したもので、「夜明け〜日本への追想」とタイトルされた。ジャジー＆メロウなサウンドはまさに日本人好み。ゲストにLittle BrotherのBig Pooh、Planet Asiaなどが参加。またDJ Okawariいよるリミックスも収録。
