サンディエゴを拠点に活動する、ブランドンとチャールズによる2人組。USのリバティーンズと呼ばれたTHE PRAYERSでの活動を経て、08年にクロコダイルズを結成。現在、UKを始めとしたヨーロッパで急速に注目を集めているカリフォルニア周辺のインディシーン。その旗手であり、その一連のバンドの最重要バンドと言われているのが彼らなのである。デビューシングル『ネオン・ジーザス』はノー・エイジを始めとする多くのバンドが大絶賛。今夏以降からはザ・ホラーズのUSツアー全日程サポートアクトとして抜擢、ザ・レヴォネッツとのツアーなども決定。また、ほぼ全ての海外音楽／ファッション誌でも大きく取り上げられるなど新人バンドとしては破格の扱いを受けている。ジーザス＆メリー・チェイン、ザ・ヴェルヴェット・アンダーグラウンドを始めとしてスペースメン3、スーサイドが引き合いに出される本盤は半世紀間のインディロックの重み、深みを携え、未来のシューゲイザーの在り方を問うダークな世界観を持った歌詞と甘美で浮遊感溢れるメロディに貫かれた名盤。遂にその全貌がここ日本で姿を現す！2010年3月には早くも来日公演が予定されている。
